I love Dempsey. 70 over Pictures.

The other day, Jiafa (yes933fm The Horoscope Prince) mentioned the top 4 most soft-hearted zodiacs. Just a quick one and in my own words again:

At number 4 Cancerians.

These type of people very easy to psycho to do things. If they don't feel like going out, just take some time and psycho them.

At number 3 Sagittarians.

Stick to their own principles. Helpful. Seldom harbour evil thoughts. Not scheming. Wah Bee! Jiafa said u're innocent leh. -_-

Runner up Librans.

To them, hurting people is a crime.

And the winner for this category goes to Pisceans again.

Helpful and kind. Weak, does not have a firm stand over anything, so whatever people say also ok lor. Easy to be pacified, just bootlick them and they will go head over heels to whatever you say. DAMN LAN LEH PISCES. Sucks.

Why everytime no Gemini har. Looks like Gemini is a perfect horoscope, no negative traits leh. I'm so perfect. OH AND HOW COME NO SCORPIO HAR?

I have this very good friend, i shall not name names. This friend always self-proclaimed as the most softhearted one among the bunch of us. She thinks too highly of herself liao. Guess who guess who? Let me give you a clue: her house very clean one.

Wa lao, i think im addicted to listening these horoscope rubbish. Sibei aunty. K, i will stop blogging about that from now on. Moving on to many pictures:

When Guan Gong celebrates Christmas.

At Serene Centre:

Cheap Western food for dinner. Runned by Muslims.

Fish.

Duck.

Dunno why, but the lightings and ambience of that restaurant makes me finding it abit shady. Anyway im not gonna talk much, the reason why i decided to make a 15mins car ride down to Serene Centre its because of .........................:

Sweet sweet Heaven.

HORLICK flavoured ice cream and Oreo mudpie.

teh-tarik and chendol flavoured.

The flavours of the ice creams really live up to their names. Excuse my limited vocab, the Horlick tasted really horlick. Teh Tarik very teh tarik. And Chendol really CHENDOL AH!

it says: 'Close for Business'

but the crowd keeps coming in.

You can even take pictures and then pin them up on their 'wall of fame'.

Finally after much hype, i got to taste some of Island Creamery's most famous. Single scoop at $2.50 and double scoop at $4. Mudpie at $4.80.

As you can see from the pictures, do not expect to find empty seats easily. But still, there's nothing to hate about at Island Creamery. Die die must try.

@ DEMPSEY HILL:

Pls leh, it's Hail Communism! Not 'Your Honour'.

Dempsey rocks la. Its so Not Singapore. It feels like overseas. The absence of street lights and lamposts. The unrepaired single lane roads and the colonial houses-turned-bistros, brings a whole new meaning to nightlife.

There is really alot to explore at Dempsey Rd. Unfortunately, didn't have much time to explore. Will do so again.

By the way, to get around Dempsey, a car is a must. Its almost impossible to walk around the whole stretch. Its very 'mountainous' plus there are no streetlights, the chances of falling into a longkang is relatively high.

dinner at some Atas Jap restaurant.

crab meat porridge.

BBQ pufferfish. tastes like fish paste Bak Gua

PS Cafe. Unfortunately, it was packed.

restaurants.

art schools.

the dempsey fountain.

From Persian Carpets, Dancing Studios to PufferFish meat. Dempsey is the latest 'IT' hangout. I love Dempsey.

Ala Carte Tim Sum:

Peking duck skin.

One, two, three...

four, five, six.... (number 5 was blocked by the tim sum steamer).

seven, eight, nine.......

Dining with 9 kids, its like having recess time in a kindergarten.

"I got 78 for my science, what about you?"

"Why is she wearing spectacles?"

"Quack Quack Quack"

And then the adults:

"Gareth, i told you not to place your utensils like that, SIT DOWN."

"You dont eat like a greedy pig."

"No Rita, stay on your chair!"

I noticed the children always asked their own questions and answered themselves. Self-amusement.

Peach Garden is fine. Pricing is quite ok. Food was good. Ambience errr.... if we overlook the 9 kids...

@ Siam Kitchen:

Siam Kitchen sucks.

Thai Express still Rocks my socks. Don't ever dine at Siam Kitchen i tell you. Just like any typical Singaporean would say, the 3 magic words - "Not Nice One".

thought they had chosen the winner for Star Search already?

Night Out at Clarke Quay:

dinner @ HoTsToNeS.

ppt slides grabbed from tingthong.blogspot.com.

i got the waiter to assist me, and Bee got an Ah sam to assist her.

At HoTsToNeS (im not being redundant, their signboard is really in this caption), beef is served raw on top the block of very hot stone. The heated stone then cooked accordingly to how 'done' you want it to be.

Its twice the price of Pepper Lunch but you wont be twice bloated. However the steak is comparably better, or so i thought? Mebbe its a psychologically thing, expensive food tastes better.

Give it a try if you don't mind spending at least 30 bucks for a meal. Its not bad seriously.

drama mama.

we didnt posed for this. i looked like im praying sincerely.

black, white and grey. it was unplanned.

korean drama.

not korean enuff.

AH this one then korean! Kim Sam Soon and i.

ting is very pregnant. 22mths. Like an elephant.

off to sheng shiong.

samsui woman at the back.

the endangered sea-lion mermaid.

With that enchanting picture as my finale, that's about it. Im feeling damn stressed up these days. My boss is a stress-creator. I dont even bother to check any spelling mistakes for this whole entry. I have alot to blog this winter season. Many pictures as well. Like what Arnold Schwarzeneger once said 'I'll be back.'
