Random But You Gotta Read These.

My dad hung up the phone at 12.30am. He called and asked me:


"Da, how come i got 5 Missed Calls and then when i try to call back, can't get through leh, isit your friend ah? irritating."

"Possible, by the way what's the name on the screen?"

"Dunno wad, ah-lee-moi."


I stoned for a few seconds coz i dun remember i stored any contacts as ah-lee-moi? in my previous phonebook. Although im famous for replacing rubbish nicks for my contacts, eg: Angie as Ahlayluyah coz she goes to church. And so i thought it could be angie coz the closest nick to 'ah-lee-moi' i could think of is that. However to double confirm, i asked him:


"How to spell?"

"Dunno leh, wad ann-mous. No number one."

"Orrrrrrrrrrh! Annonymous la!"

"Huh? who's that?"


and so the rest is history. I hope by now u should know the ones in blue were my Dad's words. By the way, he doesn't know i blog and i have no intentions of letting him know either especially when i bitched about him every now and then.

Moving on, yesterday i had a very nice dinner at Jerry's Barbecue & Grill. I was told by lu that they are famous for their ribs, steaks and deep-fried mushrooms. True enough, the steak which i was having was really good and the fried mushrooms, wa lao it has gotta be the best mushrooms i have ever tasted. I wasn't really a mushroom fan before this and now i dont mind going organic for one whole day just by eating Jerry's deep-fried mushrooms.



Prices are alittle steep during dinner for a main course $20+++. However they offer set lunches from $16+++ with the usual soup of the day and a drink.

You can find Jerry's at Club Street and Jalan Kayu. I went to the latter, the ambience was no good coz there were lots of stray cats roaming. I hate animals, exclude Robin Loh(Read 31/8), and that is why i have nothing against people who wore authentic fur coats though i dont own one. You will never find me participating in PETA protests outside some haute couture runway shows in Paris coz partly i cant afford to fly there.

Speaking bout PETA(People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), the world's largest animal rights organisation, that leads me to think whether are all PETA members vegetarian? They better be, if not i shall leave a long comment on their website. HAHA im not to that extent of bo-liao-ness yet.

Anyway before i go, i wanna declare that nobody is entitled to ask me not to write about whatever, take it or leave it =). I do not want my freedom of expression to stifle even in my own blog unless u're from the PAP.
