50th Entry - A Rojak Entry

It's my 50th entry and first i would like to say im not happy with the new Bakerzinn menu. The highly addictive Coupe Cheesecake(its not a cheesecake, wonder why they decide on that name?) has been minimized to a miniature cup and it goes along with other mini sorbets. Any 3 items for $9.80. Somehow i think its a step closer to the total elimination of my favourite dessert.

Moving on, today's entry will be alittle long just to make up for the lack of updates.

I met up with Zhang Ziyi on Friday. She insisted in the meetup and i turned up my resistance level to the maximum. Coz i scared la, i scared she bring the Toa Payoh Typhoon to my house. I mean i am very much content with the present state of my room and i dun need to live in Barbie's world.

Im not exaggerating but Ting is really capable of typhoonized your house and the destruction is often described as terrorising (spilled beer on my mahjong table etc.) - ask Wendy. Im TIRED OF SEEKING REFUGE in camps after each time she visits.(Read 25/9 entry to know what am i actually talking about.)

And so Ting Ziyi die die dragged herself to my house n slack after a day of filming Lai Ang's Crouching Camel Hidden Hippopotamus - the sequel. Ziyi forced me to get changed and we brainstormed for new hangouts.

Eventually at 9pm, we decided to pay a visit at the Eskibar, the Circular Road outlet. At first i thought it wouldnt be so freezing as they sounded like on their signboard but still i brought my 2 adidas jackets just in case.

I totally underestimated their term 'subzero bar', the jackets werent enough, should have stolen my mum's Morgan(Read 25/8 entry) along. The minute i stepped inside, i swore i was hoping im that fatty piece of meat u grilled on your barbecue pit. I was desperately in need of some heat. At there, air con really dont need money.

After merely 5mins at the bar area, i really buay tahan anymore so we asked the waitresses to borrow us some coats, yes they provide winter garbs. I sipped the liquor fast to keep myself warm.

And then we were ushered to the sofa seats, WOAH that area was much warmer than the bar. We decided not to look like Santas anymore, so off came the coats.

Eskibar is like every other bar, the prices of drinks and the variety is very similar. This place is also quite packed with Angmohs. Ziyi damn high la, she longed for a caucasian boyfriend to teach her English instead of repeating "The soup is too salty" for the millionth time.

It is undeniably a great hangout for all the sado-masochistic ones who enjoy being frozen. Im coming back again very soon for sure.








We had supper at the Cityfront Kopitiam, the reason why i decided to blog this out is because the aunties were very nice. They provided ice water just for me and they give away free longan dessert. Wow i didnt expect my Korean disguise(Read 17/9 entry) to work so well and fast among aunties.






Candy, still remember this place? i was sexually harrassed here la.



And so both Ziyi and i sang out loud roamed around Clark & Boat Quay til 4am.

Shall end here, im responsible for tutoring my sister for most of her papers these few days. She defines whatever antonyms(opposite) to the word 'Hardworking', where got people Maths exam tommorrow still leave her Textbook in school. To her, going for the paper is good enough.
