i called up the bank and realised Comfort Cab has debited thrice from my card for the same trip. And they are going to refund me the two extra amounts that they had debited, which amounts to $33.60.

Those who always use card to pay for your cab fares like me. Make it a habit to call the bank and check after every taxi trip coz sometimes taxi uncles blurblur, they swapped twice and asked u to key in your password twice, these uncles usually assume the first transaction isn't successful and therefore the need to re-key/re-swap.
