Food Reviews Again.

Before i proceed to the main topic, there was an earthquake in Sumatra 2 days ago. A few friends asked me whether did i feel any tremors coz they felt some trembling action in their offices.

I heard from friends that some bosses who felt the quake, actually evacuate the people and let them off for the rest of the day. HOW LUCKY SERIOUS LA!

I went to pour a glass of water and placed in front of me on my desk. Praying wholeheartedly Observing for signs of earthquake tremor,SADLY fortunately there wasn't any. Sian no fun.

So no earthquake 'privilege' for me and i've been going out without my watch since last week, the strap finally let loose and broke free. I have been looking around, die also must get one by this week, i feel so naked without a time teller on my wrist.

Anyway, i finally unravelled the mystery behind the frequent long queues outside all Dian Xiao Er outlets during meal times.

Service was efficient. The servicemen are mostly from the Mainland and they are quite polite, the captain could even speak moderately good English despite the heavy PRC accent. Seriously, you people should try the food there - unfortunately it's not Halal, its an authentic Chinese restaurant.

Dinner for two is around $36nett which includes the usual compulsory charges and the plate of nuts they provide at $2/plate which you can't reject- that is the only complainable part i can find. Pounds my heart, I'm going back again for sure.

On the other hand, this thai lemongrass restaurant located on the 5th level of Heeren, along the BillyBombers and Sakae that stretch, offers Thai food at its worse. The chef must be either a very health-conscious person or he thinks Salt is endangering and therefore its precious, the food is so bland unless you find a liking to Hospital-Style thai food.

If there is a poll for favourite makan place for some healthcare magazines whose target audiences are people with High Blood Pressure or Kidney failure sufferers, without fail it will end up as the Patients' Choice or under the Doctor's recommendation column. Honestly, the service there is pretty good but still...

I was cheated into the restaurant coz i thought oh the waiters and waitresses were clad in thai traditonal costumes, so the food must be really authentic and good. That explains why there is always No Queue outside the restaurant during meal times. Sometimes the crowd and queue really explain the credibility of the food served in a restaurant. So far, for affordable and edible thai food, Thai Express is still the People's Choice la.

I like this neoprint machine, it has features way cooler than the rest and its freaking spacious. After reviewing these prints on that day, i feel like pinching myself coz i felt kawaii.
