Growing Up.

Do you still remember some historical facts of yourself such as;

-Who was your favourite band when you were 13?

-Your Favourite Singer when you were 12?

-Your Favourite 'TCS'(now mediacorp) actress or actor when you were 10?

and so on..


By the way how many of you were guilty of glueing onto the TV set for Growing Up on Channel5 ?



I know I did and a fan since God knows when. I started when cute lil Tammy played by Fann Wong's younger sister and the Mother were still in the show. Later the mother was murdered n lil Tammy grew boobs (played by NYP's very own Jamie Yeo) and more funny characters were subsequently added into the script, Aileen Tan was one of them.

"I'll continue to try my best to speak gd English even if the national language is Malay, just like my continual support for bio-essence even if im not the spokesperson in future"

Good job, Aileen and we all love u.

Despite all the funny additions to the show, it remains my favourite Channel 5 Local TV Series even up til now. Its like the Singapore version of 'Days of Our Lives' and 'Zhen Qing(Kindred Spirit)' together.

Besides Growing Up, i remembered i was hooked to all of our Ah Jie's, Zoe Tay and Ah Pui's, Chen Li Ping, shows. The Incredibles Unbeatables I, II, III not only transformed me to be appreciative toward the sounds of dices but also made me realised that you can never shake 3 dices in a tupperware until they are on top of one another or even better into powder when u lift up the tupperware. Part I also taught me some origami like the stapling of poker cards and shuffle them as though ure brewing teh tarik. I was proud n anxious to show all my primary 2 classmates how it works. The next day, brought the stack of poker cards to school and U guessed it, was reprimanded by my mother tongue teacher and had my 'origami' confiscated.

I also never fail to miss an episode of Comedy Night, 搞笑行动 starring Singapore's very own Mandarin Drag Queen, Jack Neo. His creations: Liang PoPo(Grandmother Neo) and later became Liang See Mei(Cecilia Leung), that goes 'Shang Nao Jing ah'(Headache) everytime, eventually becoming the catch phrase of every Singaporean.

Now i look at the TV, i see Constance Song, Talent Search, Chen Wei Lian, Mark Lee, Talent Search, Guo Liang, Chen Wei Lian, Jeff Wang, Chen Wei Lian, Belinda Lee and Chen Wei Lian. Away goes Sharon Au, here comes Kelvin Chen Wei Lian. When i knew Sharon Au was going away, i was ecstatic, over the moon and good riddance but who knows, the worse is yet to come.

From these pictures, i conclude Blindness is the new Hotness, i shall get a pair of Burning Joss Sticks n poke my eyes.

Btw, i lurrrvee imitating Kelvin, be it acting or singing. He is an INSPIRATION. -_-
Can somebody sign me PLEASE? Im willing to act as anything and i swear i can act better. Sighs. Weilian's FC Fans aka Blue Angels, love me like you love Wei Lian can? Im very talented too.

Ok i shall end this entry with pretty pictures of the 3 ladies up there. If not TOMMORROW not only i cant walk, blind, my limbs will all be gone too!
